Connecting manufacturing professionals to drive continuous improvement!

Hi, Everyone.

I am now a startup contract equipment manufacturer, and looking for an MRP system. There are many out there, but they all seem to have big trouble with importing item masters and BOMS from excel. Also, customization is not a strongsuit of any I've seen.

Can you please give me a lead on your favorite MRP software?
Or if you are selling one, contact me ASAP.

THX

You can upload from Axcess if you have an open Dbase structure and have someone who can do a macro for you. Most MRP put the product structure in several levels etc, so its not common to have an excel upload.

When looking I found Macola and Exact to be good products. We also use QAD, which is good, but you can only list one MPN per part.
